As our programmes continue to grow, we're looking for an experienced
Delivery Supervisor – Cabling to support operational delivery across our fibre network projects.
This is a hands‑on leadership role where you'll provide day‑to‑day supervision of cabling teams, ensuring work is delivered safely, compliantly and right the first time.
Working closely with Engineers, Operatives, Subcontractors and internal stakeholders, you'll play a key role in maintaining performance, quality and customer satisfaction across the programme.
What You'll Do
- Supervise field teams carrying out underground and overhead cabling works.
- Review job packs, designs, permits and work instructions prior to delivery.
- Ensure materials, tooling, plant and access arrangements are in place.
- Drive safety compliance and adherence to RAMS, NRSWA, PIA and client requirements.
- Carry out site audits, quality inspections and compliance checks.
- Monitor productivity and performance against programme targets and KPIs.
- Oversee rod and rope, sub‑duct installation, cable pulling and cable blowing activities.
- Ensure correct cable handling techniques, tension limits and bend radius requirements are followed.
- Validate site documentation, as‑builts and completion evidence.
- Manage subcontractor performance and delivery standards.
- Identify and escalate risks, issues and delivery challenges.
- Coach, mentor and support Engineers and Operatives to improve performance and quality.
- What You'll Bring
- Experience supervising telecoms field teams within fibre or cabling environments.
- Strong understanding of underground and overhead cabling activities.
- Experience managing subcontractors and operational delivery teams.
- Knowledge of cable pulling, sub‑ducting, rod and rope and cable blowing operations.
- Strong understanding of health and safety legislation and safe working practices.
- Experience carrying out field audits, quality inspections and compliance checks.
- Ability to read and interpret job packs, permits, drawings and network designs.
- Strong communication, leadership and problem‑solving skills.
- Experience working within KPI and SLA‑driven environments.
- Competent using digital reporting and field‑based systems.
- Full UK Driving Licence.

- PIA Accreditation.
