We're now looking for a strategic and commercially minded Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to join our growing HR team. This role is ideal for an experienced HR Business Partner who thrives in a fast-paced, operational environment and enjoys working closely with senior leaders to drive business performance through people.
As a trusted HR partner , you will collaborate with functional leaders to deliver effective people strategies, provide expert HR guidance, and support organisational growth. You'll play a pivotal role in shaping the employee experience, driving engagement, and ensuring HR initiatives align with business objectives.
Covering key regions across the Midlands and the North, this is a highly visible, hands‐on HRBP role with regular travel (1–2 days per week, including occasional overnight stays) to build strong relationships and stay close to the workforce.

What you'll do
Act as a strategic HR Business Partner, working closely with senior leaders to understand business priorities and deliver aligned people plans
Provide expert HR advice and coaching to managers on employee relations, performance management, and complex people matters
Drive employee engagement, retention, and organisational performance through targeted HR initiatives
Support and lead performance management processes, including goal setting, reviews, and managing underperformance
Analyse HR metrics, people data, and workforce trends to inform decision‐making and workforce planning
Lead and support organisational design and workforce planning, including structure reviews and role clarity
Deliver key HR programmes including talent management, succession planning, learning & development, and diversity & inclusion (D&I)
Partner with Finance and leadership teams on headcount planning, budgeting, and labour cost management
Champion continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance HR processes and systemsLead and contribute to HR transformation and change projects, including cultural initiatives and system implementations
Build strong cross‐functional relationships to ensure consistency and best practice across HR and the wider business
Requirements
About you
Proven experience as a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) or Senior HR Advisor in a fast‐paced, multisite or operational environment
Strong ability to influence, challenge, and coach senior stakeholders while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality
Demonstrated expertise in employee relations, performance management, talent development, and organisational development
Solid understanding of UK employment law, HR best practice, and compliance
Experienced in delivering people strategies aligned to commercial business goals
Confident using HR data and analytics to drive insight and improve decision‐making
Strong relationship‐building and stakeholder management skills across all levels
Resilient, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
Experience supporting business change, transformation, and continuous improvement initiatives
Awareness of digital HR tools and AI‐driven solutions to enhance HR delivery and employee experience
