We’re looking for a reliable and proactive Maintenance Engineer<\/b> to support the upkeep, repair, and maintenance of multiple company sites nationwide. You’ll play a key role in ensuring our buildings, facilities, and equipment remain safe, compliant, and fully operational.
<\/p>

This is a hands -on, multi -skilled role where you’ll carry out both planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs across a range of disciplines including electrical, plumbing, joinery, and general building works. With regular travel required, including occasional overnight stays, no two days will be the same.

What you’ll do<\/b>
<\/p>

<\/p>

• Carry out general maintenance, repairs, and minor installation works across multiple sites
<\/div>
• Complete planned preventative maintenance (PPM) in line with schedules
<\/div>
• Respond promptly to reactive maintenance requests and breakdowns
<\/div>
• Travel to sites nationwide, including overnight stays where required
<\/div>
• Maintain building fabric including doors, fixtures, flooring, and internal/external areas
<\/div>
• Perform basic plumbing, electrical, joinery, and painting tasks
<\/div>
• Conduct regular site inspections and report defects or risks
<\/div>
• Ensure all sites meet health & safety and compliance standards
<\/div>
• Manage and maintain tools, equipment, and materials required for tasks
<\/div>
• Liaise with external contractors for specialist works when required
<\/div>
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports
<\/div>
• Support site teams with general facilities -related issues
<\/div>
• Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard
<\/div>
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safe systems of work
<\/div>
• Maintain high housekeeping standards across all locations
<\/div>
• Work flexibly, including outside normal hours where required

Requirements<\/h3>About you<\/b><\/p><\/p>• Proven experience in a maintenance or multi -trade/handyman role<\/div>• Practical, hands -on approach with strong problem -solving ability<\/div>• Able to work independently and effectively manage your workload<\/div>• Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise with site teams<\/div>• Good understanding of health & safety regulations<\/div>• Reliable, flexible, and proactive attitude<\/div>• Comfortable working in a fast -paced, multi -site environment<\/div>• Basic IT skills for reporting and communication<\/div><\/p>What you’ll need<\/b><\/p><\/p>• Full UK driving licence (essential)<\/div>• Willingness to travel nationwide and stay away from home when required<\/div>• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and general building maintenance<\/div>• Previous experience in maintenance, facilities, or similar roles<\/div>• Familiarity with safe working practices and compliance standards<\/div>• Fluent English<\/div><\/p><\/div><\/span>
