This role falls under the Construction Industry Scheme (CIS)

We are looking for Self Employed Cable Operative’s to work in and around the Black Country on the VM02 network. As a Cable Operative<\/b>, you will be at the forefront of constructing, installing, and maintaining advanced telecommunications networks.

What’s involved<\/b>
<\/p>

• Building and maintaining new and existing core telecommunications access networks, including Copper, HFC, and overhead cables.
  <\/li>
• Heavy cable pulling, spanning overhead lines, subducting, and blowing fibre.
  <\/li>
• Keeping detailed records of your work using our internal database.
  <\/li>
• Adhering to Virgin Media's high standards
  <\/li>
• Following all safety regulations, including the National Roads & Street Works Act.

• Ensuring all equipment is in excellent and safe working condition.

  Requirements<\/h3>About you<\/b><\/p>Sound practical knowledge and experience of Copper, HFC, and FTTP.<\/li>You may be required to support the clients in house operation from time to time.<\/li>You are comfortable with technology and eager to learn about telecommunications infrastructure.<\/li><\/ul>Licence/Certification<\/b><\/p>NRSWA Unit 2 and PIA Accredited<\/li>Driving License: You hold a full, clean, and valid UK driving license (minimum 1 year)<\/li>Security Clearance: DBS/necessary security checks will be carried out.<\/li><\/ul>Working 40 hours per week from 8am - 5pm<\/p>Payments under CIS:<\/b><\/p>Tax will be deducted from your pay before you receive it, and the contractor will pay this directly to HMRC on your behalf.<\/b><\/p><\/div><\/span>
