We are looking forSelf Employed FTTH (Fibre to the Home) Engineers to work on the Openreach network with both residential and business customers, handling the full installation and maintenance of telecom services. You’ll work across Full Fibre networks, delivering end-to-end solutions.

Your Role and Responsibilities
This is a comprehensive, hands-on position where you will interact with both residential and business customers. You'll be responsible for the end-to-end installation and maintenance of telecommunications services, working with everything from Full Fibre networks.
Your daily tasks will include:
Network Build-outs
Install new telecom services by running overhead lines on utility poles, subducting protective ducts underground, all involving hands-on, physical work.
Customer installations
Visit our customers’ homes or businesses to set up internal cabling and make sure their new services are working perfectly.
- Network Maintenance: Work with live network infrastructures ducts and poles
Quality & Safety
Follow strict safety procedures, and ensure all equipment is safe to use. You’ll also help restore sites, leaving every location clean and safe for our customers.
Reporting & Admin
Use our systems to record your work and keep information up to date in a timely manner.
Requirements
What We're LookingFor
- Qualifications: NRSWA SLG and PIA Accreditations are preferrable. You must have experience with both overhead and underground PIA networks. Additional accreditations such as A001, S8, SA051C, SA002, SA007, S7, N022, SA020, N037, and K008 are highly desirable.
- Technical Skills: Strong practical knowledge of telecom networks, proficiency with power tools and basic IT skills for using mobile job management apps.
- Communication & Customer Care: Excellent communication skills and a professional approach when dealing with customers, the public, and stakeholders.
