We're looking for a motivated and enthusiastic
Junior Web Developer to join our Systems Team.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone at the early stages of their development career who is passionate about technology, coding, and creating digital solutions that have a real impact on the business.
As a Junior Web Developer, you'll support the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of company software, web applications, websites, and digital solutions.
Working alongside experienced developers and technical specialists, you'll help review, test, troubleshoot, and enhance existing code while contributing to the creation of new features and functionality.

What you'll do
- Assist with the development, maintenance, and enhancement of company software, applications, and websites
- Support the creation and delivery of new features and functionality within existing systems
- Contribute to development projects and continuous improvement initiatives
- Review code changes and identify defects, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement
- Assist with software testing, validation, and quality assurance activities
- Support debugging activities and the resolution of coding issues
- Investigate software-related problems and assist with root cause analysis
- Diagnose technical defects within applications, websites, integrations, and systems
- Maintain accurate records of issues, fixes, and development activity
- Identify opportunities to improve application performance, usability, and reliability
- Support enhancements to existing software solutions and platforms
- Contribute ideas around innovation, automation, and process improvement
- Utilise approved AI-assisted development tools to support coding, testing, and documentation activities
- Review and validate AI-generated code to ensure quality, security, and compliance with development standards
- Support the adoption of new technologies and development tools
- Assist with the creation and maintenance of technical documentation
- Document system functionality, development updates, and architectural changes
- Support the maintenance of coding standards, development guidance, and knowledge bases
- Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders and technical teams to deliver successful solutions
- Ensure all development activities are completed in line with company standards, policies, and security requirements
