Comex 2000 is currently seeking an enthusiastic and committed Cable Operative to join our Fibre Upgrade team across Scotland’s central belt.
What are we looking for? Are you a committed, hard‑working and eager to learn individual? Then come join the Comex 2000 family! We are looking for multiple Cable Operatives for our Fibre Upgrade department in Scotland; there is no set location for the role, so travel will be required. You will need to be in good physical health as you will be working outside in all weather in a cabling role. Prior experience in a similar role would be an advantage, however training will be available to acquire the necessary qualifications. You will need to have a full UK driver’s licence; any additional driving categories would be a bonus.
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work with minimum supervision
- Ability to work within a team
- Be able to prioritise, organise and manage tasks
- Well‑presented and have good presentation skills
- Must have good IT skills – specifically Microsoft Excel and Word
- Must be holding a Full Driving License
- NRSWA Accredited
- Track rodding and roping experience reading MSDR drawings and labelling
- Fibre blowing experience would be advantageous
