As the Brand Strategist Lead, you will take a senior role in defining and steering the long-term strategic direction for our diverse portfolio of brands. You will act as a pivotal link between high-level company objectives and operational execution, ensuring our multi-brand strategy is robust, innovative, and consistently applied. This role requires a blend of visionary thinking and hands-on guidance, as you will mentor Brand and Country Managers to optimize brand development, highlight emerging opportunities, and navigate market challenges. Beyond consumer brands, you will lead the governance of the company's internal brand strategy in close partnership with our HR teams to foster a unified corporate culture.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Define and oversee the implementation of long-term brand strategies for all consumer brands, ensuring alignment with the global multi-brand framework.
- Market Intelligence & Reporting: Lead the measurement, analysis, and dissemination of reports regarding market share, demographics, and advertising impact to inform executive decision-making.
- Operational Governance: Govern the successful execution of brand strategies across the organization, maintaining a healthy and high-performing brand portfolio.
- Expert Consultation: Act as the primary senior operative support for Brand Managers, providing expert guidance on critical decisions that impact brand image and equity.
- Corporate Brand Stewardship: Lead the governance and measurement of the company's internal brand strategy, working strategically with PX and HR teams.
- Performance Tracking: Analyse and share deep-dive insights into the long-term development of brands with Heads of Countries and other key stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Experience: Significant experience (ideally 5+ years) in brand communication and strategy.
- Analytical Rigor: Advanced analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data (market share, demographics) into actionable brand insights.
- Strategic Mindset: A high-level understanding of brand positioning within a competitive, fast-paced global market.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of Excel and data visualization tools for reporting.
- Soft Skills: A passionate, collaborative leader with a solution-oriented mindset who excels at influencing stakeholders at all levels.
- Nice to Have: Experience in the iGaming industry or another highly regulated digital sector; proven track record in mentoring junior strategists or cross-functional teams; advanced understanding of performance-led design and its intersection with brand identity.
