Key Responsibilities:
- Stakeholder & Client Management: Build and sustain strong relationships with senior client stakeholders (e.g. Procurement Directors, IT Directors, Programme Leads). Act as a trusted advisor on procurement strategy, future requirements, and service optimisation.
- Service Delivery & Pipeline Ownership: Maintain a forward‑looking pipeline of Services Procurement needs. Lead the end‑to‑end delivery of large and/or complex SOWs, ensuring alignment with customer objectives.
- Team Leadership: Line manage Services Procurement Specialists and oversee day‑to‑day coordination activity. Foster a high‑performing, collaborative culture across internal teams and supplier networks.
- Commercial & Operational Excellence: Ensure all services are delivered in line with our operating model and standards. Lead supplier onboarding activities, including MSA and rate card negotiations. Deliver against customer KPIs with a relentless focus on quality and continuous improvement.
What you will bring:
- Essential: Understanding of the key principles of contract law. Experience in project or programme delivery, including management of subcontractors. Proven ability to develop, inspire, and lead high‑performing teams.
- Desirable: Experience in procurement-either operationally or within an outsourced/MSP environment. CIPS or equivalent qualification. Familiarity with UK public sector procurement. Knowledge of public‑sector frameworks such as NEPRO, MSTAR.
