The Solution Engineer acts as the key technical expert in the execution of FreeWheel\’s strategic implementation projects, for some of the largest Broadcasters and Advertising Platforms in Europe. As such, you must communicate with customers and partners frequently, finding clever solutions to complex problems, drawing upon your experience and creativity to ensure the success of FreeWheel\’s most demanding client initiatives. You will also be tasked with developing and sharing best practices across FreeWheel and providing support to the Client Services organisation, standardising proven solutions, and acting as a trusted expert both internally and externally.
Responsibilities:
- Design and document business and technical solutions for client project execution
- Act as primary liaison between the Client Team and Product Development teams, providing guidance and feedback on product usage, gaps, or new use cases
- Participate in pre-sales efforts requiring deep technical insight into FreeWheel\’s technology
- Address major escalations and client-wide difficulties, assist in complex implementations, and clarify resolution paths for new or unclear use cases
- Advise Marketing, Product Marketing, and Commercial teams on story, materials, and product features
- Provide training to internal teams and occasionally to clients
Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Web or mobile technology literacy (HTML5, JavaScript, etc.)
- Knowledge of database structures and/or experience with SQL
- Experience presenting to diverse audiences at all levels of seniority
- Preferred qualifications include experience with video technologies, online advertising, scripting languages, APIs, and technical troubleshooting
While possessing the stated degree is preferred, Comcast may consider applicants with relevant coursework, experience, or extensive professional background.
