Job Summary
Responsible for performing quarterly audit engagements year-round to help identify and manage risks to the business.
Responsibilities
- Participate as active members of the engagement team throughout each phase (i.e., planning, execution, and reporting).
- Work collaboratively and independently to conduct audits across operational, financial, regulatory, and/or technology areas across the Company.
- Execute aspects of the standard internal audit process, which includes the three phases of planning, execution and reporting out to business management.
- Perform thorough inquiry and data analysis to understand business operations and assist in developing project scope.
- Examine records, documents, methods, policies, costs, and other factors to determine if functional areas are conducting operations in accordance with established policies/procedures, best practices, United States Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, and governmental and legal requirements.
- Apply appropriate audit procedures to the areas reviewed to ensure that controls are tested and all significant risks are addressed.
- Prepare clear and well-organized audit work papers documenting root-cause, work performed, investigation summaries, and recommendations.
- Formulate appropriate conclusions and clearly document findings based on testing results.
- Combine knowledge of Company operations with testing results to determine control effectiveness.
- Identify audit findings and consider corrective actions.
- Identify opportunities for improvement to audit methodology, tools, and training.
- Support department objectives and perform other duties and responsibilities, as assigned.

- Able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s), as necessary.

Educational, Experience, and Skill Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, and/or related Business field(s) of study.
- CIA, CPA/Chartered Accountant, or CISA certification is a plus.
- 2 years of experience, internal and/or external audit experience is required.
- Knowledge of Cable, Media, or Telecom industry experience is a plus.
- Experience working with data analytics, cyber controls, and/or robotic process automation (RPA) tools is a plus.
- Out-of-town travel approximately up to 20%.
Education
Bachelor's Degree. While possessing the stated degree is preferred, Comcast also may consider applicants who hold some combination of coursework and experience, or who have extensive related professional experience.
