As the Demand Account Manager, you will be responsible for delivering services towards agencies and trading desks based in Germany such as trafficking, monitoring delivery and troubleshooting programmatic campaigns. You will be part of the Demand Account Management team, working closely with Demand Sales and other internal stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the German Demand Sales to ensure client budgets are delivered in a timely manner with excellent operational execution.
- Be the first operational point of contact for agencies and trading desks in Germany, providing technical insights and troubleshooting RTB campaigns.
- Ensure client goals are achieved by optimizing pacing/performance on a regular basis.
- Identify technical constraints and debug creative issues before they impact campaign delivery.
- Monitor programmatic campaigns daily, flag impression and performance discrepancies with buyers and escalate complex issues with internal tech teams when necessary.
- Provide best-in-class service to clients by fully understanding FreeWheel's ad serving technology and its media products.
- Interact with all relevant FW teams to guarantee supply volumes are secure and steady within the ad serving platform.
- Analyse RTB bidding behaviours to suggest accurate pricing recommendations for clients and achieve best campaign results.
- Collaborate and/or coordinate client meetings/calls, build strong connections with buyers in Germany, upsell and promote FW products when possible.
- Participate in international team meetings/calls, document technical learnings and share knowledge with peers across all European Freewheel offices.
- Coordinate and oversee day-to-day tasks of one junior team member, providing technical support and help setting out daily/weekly priorities.
About You:
- 4 to 5 years of experience in account management/trafficking/ad ops in the programmatic industry.
- Experience working for a trading desk, agency or publisher.
- Proficient in German and English, with the ability to communicate with clients clearly and professionally.
- Robust knowledge in Programmatic either Buy side or Sell side.
- True technical skills, debugging creative tags, ability to read programmatic Ad requests.
- Committed to achieving the best results for FreeWheel clients.
- Proactive and able to foresee problems before they turn into issues.
- Capable of managing daily workload efficiently based on team priorities and goals.
- Able to learn fast in an ever-changing tech environment.
- Bonus: Strong analytical skills, confident working with large data sets, building campaign dashboards and reports with Excel and Power BI tools.
