Roles & Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day cash flow and oversee the company’s financial transactions.
- Handle and supervise the full set of accounts, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), and bank reconciliations.
- Maintain, update, and analyse financial data to assess the company’s financial position and performance.
- Prepare, review, and analyse monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports, as well as annual budgets.
- Prepare income statements, balance sheets, GST submissions, and other statutory filings in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate and support year-end tax filings, statutory audits, and financial reviews.
- Ensure ongoing compliance with Singapore statutory and regulatory requirements, including IRAS and ACRA, and stay updated on regulatory changes.
- Maintain and manage the company’s accounting system (e.g. QuickBooks) and recommend process or system improvements where appropriate.
- Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy, completeness, and proper documentation of financial records.
- Support ad-hoc accounting and finance-related duties as required by management.
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- 3–7 years of relevant accounting or finance experience.
- Demonstrated ability to handle a full set of accounts independently.
- Experience in project-based or services-oriented environments is an advantage.
Technical Skills
- Proficient in accounting software (mandatory).
- Strong working knowledge of Singapore GST and statutory requirements.
- Familiarity with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS).
Language & Eligibility
- Proficiency in spoken and written Chinese is required to liaise with Chinese-speaking clients, vendors, and stakeholders, and to handle related financial documentation.
- Good command of written and spoken English.
