We are looking for a BMS Commissioning Engineer with strong Siemens experience to work on high-profile projects across commercial and critical environments. You will be responsible for commissioning, testing, and optimising Siemens BMS installations, working closely with project teams and clients to ensure systems perform exactly as designed. This role suits someone who is comfortable owning commissioning activities end-to-end and enjoys working on technically challenging sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Commission Siemens Desigo BMS systems across live and new-build sites
- Configure and test Desigo PX / PXC controllers
- Work with Desigo CC (graphics, alarms, trends, schedules)
- Carry out FAT / SAT, functional testing, and client witness testing
- Integrate BMS with HVAC plant, metering, and third-party systems (BACnet)
- Diagnose and resolve software, hardware, and communications issues
- Produce commissioning documentation and handover packs
- Support clients post-handover with optimisation and fine-tuning
Essential Experience
- Proven experience commissioning Siemens BMS systems
- Hands-on with Desigo CC and Siemens controller configuration
- Strong understanding of HVAC plant and control strategies
- Experience with BACnet integration and fault-finding
- Comfortable working independently on-site
- Full UK driving licence
Desirable
- Experience with Desigo Insight or legacy Siemens estates
- Exposure to other BMS platforms (Trend, Tridium, Schneider)
- ECS / CSCS card
- Experience in healthcare, data centres, or critical infrastructure
