Our client is a leading Cosmetics and Luxury goods organisation that has expanded into the UK, providing high-end cosmetic products to large and boutique hotel chains. They are looking for a strong Supply Chain leader to manage and be responsible for the end-to-end supply chain, which involves planning management, import & export processes, and regulatory affairs.
This is a strategic position to oversee the supply chain function for UK/EMEA and Australia.
Responsibilities- Lead, coach and support the Supply Chain team.
- Assess, develop, implement, and manage cross-functional, integrated inventory control processes that incorporate planning, order cycles, inventory levels, and associated cost elements.
- Review existing materials management practices and identify areas for improvement.
- Perform customer demand, sales forecasts, and historical material usage analysis to develop and execute 'make to order' and 'make to stock' replenishment plans.
- Prepare customer delivery reports by collecting, analysing, and summarising information and trends to proactively communicate potential late deliveries.
- Provide leadership to production scheduling by monitoring inventories, tracking progress of production, and reviewing factors that affect schedules.
- 5+ years of supply chain, logistics, or management experience.
- Experience of working in an ERP system (ideally SAP) to manage forecasts, planning, resources, and inventory management.
- Evidence of effective communication and handling across multiple communication channels and teams.
- Experience in analysing and producing management reports.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong commercial awareness.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Pharmaceutical industry experience essential.
- Good data analysis skills.
