Job Title:Electrician Reporting To:Supervisor Hours of Work: Mon Fri 07:30 16:30 Role Overview This role will be responsible for the delivery of electrical maintenance, installation, inspection, testing & servicing across a wide range of sectors. The role will involve ensuring all works are carried outto required customer standards while upholding safety guidelines andcomplying withcodes and regulations. Key Activities / Responsibilities: Installation, servicing and maintenance of electrical systems and appliancesin accordance withthe current edition of IET Wiring Regulations to our customers properties. Inspection and testing of new and existing electrical installation and the completion ofappropriate certificatesand reports in line with BS7671. Carrying out electrical installation condition reports and Portable Appliance Testing Identification and quantifying of electrical remedial works Emergency Lighting Testing and reporting Electrical installation and maintenance to domestic heating systems To perform the jobin accordance withthe companys policies and procedures, especially the Equal Opportunities and Dignity at Work Policy. To perform any other duties as may bereasonably requiredfrom time-to-time. Education / Experience: Experienceoperatingwithin a face paced construction industry (a focus toward housing maintenance would be desirable) Strong knowledge of Health and Safety issues NVQ Level 3 in Electrotechnical Services & Installation or equivalent City & Guilds 18thEdition or equivalent City & Guilds 2391 or 2394/2395 or equivalent CSR card or NVQ equivalent Experience of working in domestic/residential and commercial sectors. Comply withrequirements ofSparkSafeQualified Electrician Asbestos Awareness Access NI/Security Clearance Skills/Competencies: Good problem-solving skills and self-motivated Flexibility to handle callouts on a rotational basis TPBN1_NI
