SENIOR IT TECHNICIAN
Salary: NJC Scale SO1, Points 23 to 25 (£34,434 to £36,363 per annum FTE). Actual salary £34,434 per annum on point 23.
Contract: Permanent. 37 hours per week - Monday to Thursday 08.00 to 16.00 and Friday 08.00 to 15.30. 52 weeks a year

Are you an experienced IT professional ready to take the next step in your career? Comberton Village College is seeking a Senior Technician to help lead and develop technology services that support outstanding teaching and learning and play a vital role in the success of the school.
What you will do
- Lead and support a team of IT technicians
- Provide third-line technical support and problem resolution
- Manage and maintain servers, networks, hardware and software
- Ensure cyber security, filtering and safeguarding systems remain robust
- Support implementation of new technologies and Trust-wide projects
- Provide technical advice and training to staff.
What we are looking for
- Experience managing IT infrastructure, hardware and software services
- Strong Microsoft technology skills including Windows and Microsoft 365
- Knowledge of networking technologies including DNS, DHCP and switching
- Leadership, communication and problem-solving skills
- A proactive approach and passion for excellent customer service.
