At Combe Hay, we are committed to providing a needs‑led, person‑centred service for older people, where dignity, choice and independence are always respected. We are now looking for a compassionate and experienced Night Team Leader to guide our night team and support residents through the night. If you lead with heart, compassion and professionalism, you will fit right in. This is a key role within the home, combining leadership responsibilities with hands‑on care to ensure residents feel safe, supported and at home overnight.
Job Description
As Night Team Leader at Combe Hay, you will lead and support the night care team while providing a high standard of hands‑on care to our residents. Working in line with National Care Standards, you will ensure residents feel safe, comfortable and supported throughout the night, responding promptly to call bells, administering medication where qualified, assisting with personal care and mobility, providing drinks and light snacks, and completing light domestic and laundry duties. You will act as the senior point of contact overnight, maintain accurate records and ensure smooth handovers, all while promoting dignity, independence and choice.
Location: Combe Hay Care Home, Scarborough
Hours: 8.00 pm – 8.00 am
