Care Assistants at Combe Hay play a vital role in supporting residents with everyday tasks, offering companionship, dignity, and a warm, reassuring presence. Responsibilities

  • You will provide a high standard of care for all our residents, ensuring individuals’ choices and dignity are respected and their independence promoted at all times.
  • With liaison to the Welfare Manager, you will assist with social outings and activities when necessary.
  • Other daily activities include helping at mealtimes, changing beds, and assisting with laundry.

Requirements

  • Experience is not essential as training will be provided, but we are looking for someone with a good standard of education, flexibility to cover shifts, and an empathetic understanding of the needs of older people.
  • This post is subject to DBS clearance and you must be able to provide two references.
