The key role is supporting the sales and technical teams to communicate with our customers, providing pre-sales support, customer liaison, technical expertise and commissioning.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Technical Support & Troubleshooting: Provide daily technical support for a selected range of configurable controllers and accessories (engine control, hybrid, marine, gas, etc.). Assist customers and distributors through email, phone, and occasional on-site visits. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues using simulators and real-world testing environments.
- Application Development & Testing: Collaborate with senior engineers to design solutions for customer applications. Contribute to projects as a supporting technical contact.
- Training & Enablement: Support the delivery of hands-on and online training sessions; Promote knowledge sharing within the organization.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with Sales, Product Management, and Engineering to escalate and resolve customer issues. Provide customer feedback to internal teams to support product development and improvement.
What makes you a great fit
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related field – or significant hands-on experience in a relevant industry
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar or related role
- Solid knowledge of gensets, synchronization, electrical engineering, and automation/PLC systems
- Familiarity with ComAp products and tools is a major advantage
- Proactive, goal-oriented, and dependable personality
- Strong customer focus with a collaborative team spirit
- Flexibility to travel domestically and occasionally internationally, as travel is an inherent part of this position
