The Reward team, part of People and Culture, focuses on Compensation, Recognition, Benefits and Well‑being. It delivers projects and core work, adopting a continuous improvement mindset to support transformation.
Role Purpose
The Compensation & Recognition Analyst reports to the Head of Reward and coordinates the delivery of a consistent, transparent and competitive Compensation and Recognition framework to attract and retain talent.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Compensation & Recognition Manager on annual pay and bonus review models and rollout to senior stakeholders.
- Design and develop new programmes and policies aligned with business objectives.
- Serve as a reward business partner, guiding People Business Partners (PBPs) and the wider People & Culture team.
- Maintain relationships with Payroll, Finance, People Operations, Workday and other relevant teams to ensure accurate reward data.
- Coordinate participation in salary surveys and produce benchmarks and package recommendations.
- Manage the job levelling process, including evaluation, communication and outcome maintenance.
- Lead the Equal Pay Audit and Pay Gap reporting.
- Provide day‑to‑day support for all employee Compensation & Recognition matters.
- Support recognition activities, including system management, reporting and gift voucher purchases.
- Prepare internal communications and briefing materials for line managers, intranet and reward guidance.
- Contribute to governance papers, e.g., People Committee.
- Ensure Workday HRIS is updated with job profiles, salaries and bonuses and maintain the job catalogue.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Experience with annual reward cycles and building pay models.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables).
- In-depth knowledge of job analysis, pricing, and survey analysis.
- Experience handling large data sets and manipulating data.
- Familiarity with Willis Towers Watson (WTW) Job Evaluation and benchmarking methodologies.
- Knowledge of best practice in Reward and Recognition fundamentals.
- Strong advising skills for reward queries.
- Quantitative, analytical, and conceptual problem‑solving abilities.
- High numeracy, accuracy and attention to detail.
- Proactive and flexible, able to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
- Capability to generate insights and explore multiple solutions to complex issues.
