What you’ll be doing In this busy and exciting role, you will manage the Management Accounting activities for the site, providing insightful financial analysis and accurate reporting to support decision-making across operations and commercial teams.
- Build a deep understanding of site cost drivers and maintain accurate costing models
- Prepare, review and present costings for current and future product ranges, supporting NPD and EPD activity
- Oversee accurate setup and maintenance of standard costs
- Monitor, report and present KPIs, providing commentary and highlighting risks or opportunities
- Support forecasting processes and alignment with key stakeholders and Group requirements
- Deliver ad hoc modelling and analysis to support operational and commercial decisions
- Provide financial analysis for Capex proposals, including ROI validation
- Lead post-capital reviews to assess project performance
- Act as site finance lead on minor project implementations
- Provide clear commentary on P&L movements and variances versus forecast and last year
What we’re looking for:
- Experience in a similar management accounting role
- Strong communication skills
- Confident working with data and producing insightful analysis
- Able to work at pace and meet deadlines
- Self-motivated and able to work independently to drive actions
- Experience with Finance ERP systems (desirable)
- ACCA/CIMA part- or fully-qualified (desirable)
