Role Purpose:

To support the delivery of the Tesco Atlas programme by managing the commercial activity within the relevant category. The role integrates fully within the Tesco category team to coordinate commercial projects from concept through to launch, ensuring delivery against commercial KPIs and supporting the creation of high value Buy, Move, Grow commercial projects. The role works closely with Tesco Development, Technical, Brand and Supplier teams to ensure projects progress smoothly through the Tesco process while maintaining confidentiality under the Atlas programme NDA.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Manage commercial projects across the Atlas programme from concept through to launch, ensuring delivery against agreed milestones, KPIs, and customer expectations.
  • Coordinate commercial critical paths by aligning supplier and Tesco timelines and ensuring all stakeholders are informed and engaged.
  • Deliver commercial activities including strategic category reviews, milestone presentations, and PGR processes with senior stakeholders.
  • Lead cost optimisation and “Buy For Less” initiatives by identifying efficiencies with suppliers and supply chain teams.
  • Oversee new product setup processes to ensure accurate and efficient product launches.
  • Track, forecast, and report commercial metrics and financial implications associated with Atlas projects.
  • Lead merchandising and launch planning activities to maximise successful in-store product launches.
  • Manage project documentation, milestone records, launch materials, and internal communications to required standards.
  • Build and maintain strong supplier and Tesco relationships to support commercial trade plans and product review activity.
  • Support launch readiness activities including pre-production meetings, product submissions, and launch preparation.
  • Ensure compliance with Tesco policies, Business Code of Conduct, and Atlas NDA confidentiality requirements.
