Job Title: D365 Business Central Support Consultant
Location: Home-based with travel to client site or Columbus offices as required
Salary: Negotiable (We aim to improve your current package)
Bonus: Yes

Travel/Expenses: A car is required for travel to client sites – expensed at 45p per mile from home address (excluding travel to any Columbus Office within 35mi)

The role of D365 Business Central Support Consultant
In this role, you will deliver high-quality consultancy services to ensure customer satisfaction across Operational Service Agreements. This includes providing 1st and 2nd line remote helpdesk support as well as on-site consultancy when required. You will also proactively identify and promote new commercial opportunities that align with Columbus\’ strategic goals.
- Provide timely and effective resolution of customer incidents in line with agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
- Conduct root cause analysis and manage incidents to reduce recurrence and improve long-term service stability.
- Champion customer success by delivering high-quality consultancy that aligns with Columbus service standards
- Collaborate effectively with customers and third-party vendors to ensure swift and comprehensive incident resolution.
- Execute assigned tasks to a high standard, ensuring customer satisfaction, adherence to contractual obligations, and project scope.
Travel and Hybrid Working
We have an environment that gives you the flexibility to achieve an effective work-life balance for you and your family, whether you want to work from home or at one of our luxury Cubo offices around the UK.
We continue to offer our customers onsite consultancy time if requested, so flexibility around travel and overnight stays is expected, dependent on the project requirements. Onsite time is planned ahead of time, within 2-week blocks, so you know well in advance where you will be working.
We encourage those in customer-facing roles to aim to come into the office at least once a month, and also team meetings and client meetings; however, you can work from Nottingham HQ or any Cubo office regularly if you prefer, whichever suits you.
About You (The Essentials)
- Knowledge in supporting Microsoft Dynamics NAV or Business Central
- Experience with using a ticketing system, e.g. Service Now, and issue resolution workflows
- Customer-facing experience in roles such as consultancy, pre-sales or post-implementation support.
- Familiarity with accounting, supply chain, and operations workflows
- Ability to diagnose problems, understand business processes, and identify root causes quickly.
- Full driver\’s licence and access to a vehicle
- Curious, looking to challenge the status quo and improve
- Collaborates well with both internal and external colleagues
- Committed to personal development and becoming a Trusted Advisor in your field.
