We are looking for a strong communicator to join our Responsible Investment team. In the role, you will be responsible for project managing and writing a number of essential responsible investment reports that underpin our commitment as a business. It will require seeking input from SMEs across the business as well as navigating internal governance approvals. We are looking for someone with strong leadership skills who wants to ensure our disclosures reflect good practice in an evolving industry.
Fund profile and investment trust reporting
- Write and project manage 15 annual fund profile reports for responsible/sustainable fund ranges.
- Ensure high levels of data quality, and close collaboration with portfolio managers.
- Lead on investment trust RI reporting for 5 investment trusts, which includes collecting, writing, and editing general information on RI, trust‐specific engagement and voting data, and carbon analytics.
Stewardship Reporting – Annual And Quarterly
- Provide the Marketing team with engagement and voting data, as well as engagement case studies, for the QLY report.
- Review and sign off the final report.
- Manage the strategic direction of the report.
- For Q4 2026, lead the writing and project manage the annual stewardship report to comply with UK, Japan, Taiwan, and Korea stewardship codes.
- Liaise with the assurance provider and assist with internal data walkthroughs and data collection; ensure timely publication.
- Liaise with all contributors, editing where necessary.
- Liaise directly with regulators as required.
QLY internal RI update
- Write a quarterly internal communication on responsible investment.
- Manage the strategic direction of the update (e.g., recent move from PDF to newsletter).
Communication and collaboration
- Lead on Viewpoint project management across departments (Research/ESG desk analysts/RI Team) and ensure publication of 2–3 Viewpoints per quarter; manage the full publication cycle.
- Active participant in Fund Pod and Distribution/Marketing calls, providing an update on reporting and contributing to discussions around products, policies, regulations, labels, data, and any client/investment desk requests.
- Support team communication output (slide decks, briefings) as appropriate/needed.
Requirements for success
- Project management skills and ability to deal with a significant number of stakeholders who might have different priorities.
- Good understanding of and/or willingness to gain additional understanding of a variety of ESG data relevant for fund profile and stewardship reporting.
- Excellent communication skills – both verbally and in writing.
- Interest in and skill for writing and editing, ideally with evidence of prior experience.
- Some previous exposure to the world of Responsible Investment.
- Analytical skills, attention to detail, a curious mind, and a large sense of humour to help you succeed.
