We have a great opportunity for a Portfolio Analyst to join our Investment Grade, Fixed Income investment team based in London. The ideal candidate will bring strong data and analytical skills to the role. There is potential for the role to progress to a Junior Portfolio Manager for the Investment Grade team.
How you'll spend your time:
- Supporting the experienced Portfolio Managers and Portfolio Analysts on the Investment Grade desk in London
- Working very closely with the Portfolio Managers to implement investment ideas into Investment Grade Credit funds
- You will support with the efficient management of the Investment Grade portfolios
- Additional complimentary tasks in support of the credit desk and fixed income
To be successful in this role you will have:
- An understanding of Fixed Income
- A keen interest in and understanding of corporate earnings and accounts
- An ability to understand investment strategies in Credit
- An ability to respectfully challenge and debate issues and securities with Analyst and Portfolio Manager colleagues
- An ability to work independently, while being a strong team player
- An ability to multi-task and to manage multiple trade tickets (primary and secondary) at once
- An ability to treat data efficiently
- Knowledge of Bloomberg
- Hard working and diligent

- Knowledge of Aladdin OMS
- Strong data skills – Python, Bloomberg Code
- Knowledge of operational workflow
