Where you’ll fit on the team and our goals. You will provide oversight for the delivery of fund administration and related operational services supplied by the outsourced administrator. You will build and manage the relationship with the supplier, liaise on service provision, ensure overall service meets or exceeds requirements, and resolve issues escalated to the Oversight Team from the supplier, Columbia Threadneedle business areas or our clients. Fund Accounting Oversight provides first line support for operational issues that arise where there are interfaces with the supplier’s processes and support structure. The focus is on Fund Administration and the NAV Oversight process, but expectations may change to cover other areas from time to time.

How you’ll spend your time:

  • Use oversight tools to monitor and promote successful supplier performance.
  • Ensure agreed SLA and contractual deliverables are achieved.
  • Monitor KPIs and take appropriate action when trigger points are crossed.
  • Complete periodic onsite process reviews, identifying risks and opportunities for continuous improvement, and propose and own delivery of enhancements where required.
  • Monitor supplier reports and MI deliverables, ensuring accurate completion of all assigned tasks.
  • Address and resolve day‑to‑day issues raised by Columbia Threadneedle business and suppliers, escalating unresolved issues.
  • Maintain issue logs, monitor trends, and drive early resolution through attendance at regular internal and external meetings and direct contact with involved parties.
  • Liaise with Columbia Threadneedle control functions (Compliance, Risk, Audit, Legal) on individual issue events or general supplier performance issues.
  • Develop an open and effective relationship with key Columbia Threadneedle functions including Front Office, Middle Office, Distribution and TA Oversight.
  • Develop an open and effective relationship with key Columbia Threadneedle clients where applicable.
  • Produce reporting required by management for use in internal and external meetings, committees and company boards.
  • Provide support to the change process in the role of SME.
  • Ensure all Fund Accounting processes are fully documented and regularly reviewed for appropriateness and relevance.

Qualifications: To be successful in this role you will have:

  • NAV pricing experience.
  • Extensive working knowledge of Fund Accounting operations including SICAVs, ICAVs, OEICs and multiple asset types.
  • Delivery‑focused with attention to detail, able to deliver excellence in a deadline‑driven environment.
  • Flexibility with the ability to work on a range of items simultaneously and proactively manage and prioritise a significant and often changing workload.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, formally and informally.
  • Strong team player with the ability to form cross‑functional relationships within Columbia Threadneedle and the supplier.
  • Quick learner able to pick up new processes and instruments.
  • Analytical approach to problem‑solving and ability to identify risk areas.

Preferred Skills:

  • Security pricing experience.
  • Prior experience working within an outsourced environment as part of a client or supplier organisation.

In‑Office Collaboration: We are a client‑centric, relationship‑based business. Working together, in‑person, is foundational to how we achieve results. Team members must work in the office at least four (4) days per week, with flexibility to work from home one (1) day per week. Some roles may require additional in‑office time or different in‑office expectations, and specific requirements will be discussed during the hiring process.
