We are recruiting a 1st Line Risk Senior Manager to implement, execute and manage risk for Columbia Threadneedle's Distribution business unit. You will lead the organization in proactive risk identification, continuous control improvement and issue mitigation. You will oversee a team responsible for risk event management, risk and controls identification, self-assessment and testing, risk reporting, and governance for global business partners.
How You'll Spend Your Time
- 20% Provide operational risk and controls thought leadership, lead risk management strategies, benchmark industry data, and liaise with industry sources.
- 20% Establish and lead a governance framework to monitor operational risk management and process controls, influence adoption of protocols, and implement reporting routines.
- 20% Identify high-risk processes, build a testing program, collaborate on enhancements, and perform due diligence.
- 15% Act as point person for risk events, log and review them, drive remediation, and lead crisis prevention sessions.
- 15% Provide oversight on KRI population and risk reporting, lead the RCSA program, and ensure breaches are addressed.
- 10% Participate in the Operational Resiliency program, establish service tolerances, and perform stress tests.

Work Arrangement
