We’re looking for a talented Assistant Store Manager to join our Columbia Retail team in York, UK. You will support the store’s success and team, contributing to profitability and customer satisfaction, and mentor staff. In the Manager’s absence you will take charge of the store.
How You’ll Make a Difference
- Provide excellent customer service, advising customers on products to elevate the consumer experience.
- Maximise store sales and monitor progress against key targets.
- Lead and develop the store team: hire, train, evaluate performance.
- Coach, motivate and inspire staff to reach their potential.
- Maintain visual merchandising standards following corporate VM guidelines.
- Foster a positive work environment and communicate with all levels of management and staff.
- Ensure company policies and procedures are followed and suggest improvements.
What Makes You Successful?
- High‑school graduate or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of retail or customer service & sales experience at management level.
- Good knowledge of the country’s official language.
- Professional level of English required.
