We seek to appoint an enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join our excellent team.
Are you a graduate looking to gain valuable classroom experience before pursuing a career in teaching?

Main duties and responsibilities
- Supervise lessons for absent teachers as required.
- To facilitate and encourage learning which helps all students achieve their potential.
- To work with colleagues to support high standards of behaviour and attainment.
- To implement school policies and procedures.
The candidate:
- Holds a 2:1 degree or higher in Maths, English, Science or a related subject Has a genuine passion for education and supporting young people Demonstrates strong communication skills Is considering a future career in education or a related field Has the right to work in the UK

Experience of working with or caring for secondary school aged children is essential. The successful candidate should have excellent numeracy, literacy and ICT skills and be able to communicate clearly to students and staff in a calm and respectful manner, be reliable and trustworthy and work within the school’s policies and procedures.
37 Hours Per Week -Term Time Only
Hours of work are:
Monday - Thursday - 8.00 am - 4.00 pm and Friday - 8.00 am - 3.30 pm (30 minute for lunch every day)

The post of cover supervisor incorporates a wide range of experiences, fulfilling opportunities and the chance to make a meaningful contribution to school life.
