Colton Hills Community School is a mixed, non-denominational community secondary school and sixth form for pupils aged 11-18, based in the south of Wolverhampton in the West Midlands. Since its establishment in 1974, the school encompasses a rich, harmonious and multicultural community and is committed to the development of all students, up to and including our growing sixth form. In a report by The Times in March 2025, Colton Hills was ranked amongst the top 20 happiest schools in the country. We are also a growing school, our student numbers are robust and the whole-school cohort is over 1000 students. Colton Hills Community School is looking to appoint a passionate, committed and motivating Assistant Year Lead to work with teaching staff, support staff, the inclusion team and external agencies, providing first line support to students within a year group on pastoral issues. Full details of the role can be found in the Job Description. 37 hours per week, Mon - Fri. Term Time plus 10 days to be worked throughout the school holidays.
