We are looking for an organised and friendly individual to join our team and provide a "Colten" warm welcome to all our visitors. Your interpersonal skills will be in regular use, and you will act as a font of knowledge, assisting your wider team, residents and relatives.
The Senior Administrator has day‑to‑day responsibility for the line management of the administration team and for managing the administration function of the care home. You will provide the highest possible level of customer care so that residents and families feel totally at home. Your duties include:
- Greeting and escorting visitors
- Conducting viewings
- Handling telephone and email enquiries and correspondence
- General office duties
- Financial management tasks
- Basic recruitment administration
- Maintaining contact with other Colten Care departments
- Managing client admission and occupancy records
- Providing support to the Home Manager with various administrative tasks
Requirements:
- Previous experience supervising a team and a proven track record in administration and/or reception
- Professionalism, excellent customer service skills and a commitment to delivering person‑centred care
- Confidence in literacy and numeracy, with proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Ability to work in a busy, fast‑paced environment, juggling multiple tasks
- Strong organisational, flexibility, approachable and prioritisation skills
- Business insurance is essential due to travel during work hours
