With recognised qualifications and expertise in fire alarm systems, you'll play a key role in our Facilities Department. Join us in maintaining and enhancing our care homes across Dorset, Hampshire, Wiltshire, and West Sussex.
About the Position: A key position in the Facilities Management Department, you will be involved in all aspects of electrical, access control, and fire alarm systems across our portfolio of 21 highly rated care homes. You will be carrying out reactive maintenance repairs to our electrical and building services systems, fire alarm and access control systems, and supporting our refurbishment teams on enabling works for minor projects managed through our Computer Aided Facilities Management system (CAFM).
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record and hold significant experience working on electrical and control systems. This is a mobile role, with extensive travel across Dorset, Hampshire, Wiltshire, and West Sussex, so a driving license is essential.

About You: You’ll have attained recognised electrical qualifications (level 3 technical and vocational, level 3 Diploma, 18 edition certificate amendment 2 or equivalent). Level 3 Award in the Requirements of Fire Detection and Fire Alarm Systems for Buildings BS 5839-1 2017 or equivalent. Demonstrate a sound working knowledge of building services systems. You are used to keeping records and are happy to work without immediate supervision, staying calm under pressure and with a great eye for detail. You are a good communicator and will enjoy getting to know and conversing with our residents.
