What You'll Be Doing:

  • Creating a varied calendar of activities that reflects our residents' interests from arts and crafts to quizzes, gardening, music, gentle exercise, and special events.
  • Supporting residents on minibus trips which can involve personal care.
  • Supporting residents one-to-one as well as in group settings, making sure everyone feels included and valued.
  • Building strong relationships with residents, their families, and friends to really understand what brings them joy.
  • Bringing the local community into the home by arranging visits, outings, and special guests.
  • Working closely with the care team so activities are a natural part of daily life.
  • Completing administration tasks to ensure our record keeping is kept up to date.
  • Working with the team to create visuals for activities.
