We are looking for a Recruitment Advisor to provide maternity cover, joining our friendly recruitment and onboarding team. As an organised and proactive individual, you'll support the day-to-day recruitment needs for several of our care homes. Working closely with home managers, you will post vacancies, screen candidates, and help ensure every applicant enjoys a positive experience throughout the process.
During this temporary contract, you will play an important part in maintaining a smooth and effective recruitment service for Colten Care. You'll work alongside heads of departments to understand their staffing needs and translate these into successful recruitment campaigns with suitable candidates. Your focus may vary depending on the roles you support; some homes will require active application generation, while others will involve managing and reviewing high volumes of incoming applications efficiently and fairly. You will liaise regularly with home managers to progress suitable candidates, book interviews, and ensure all recruitment steps are followed consistently.
This position requires someone who is organised, thorough, and able to manage multiple tasks at pace. You'll be reliable, trustworthy, and able to build strong working relationships with managers across our homes. Prior recruitment experience is welcomed but not essential; we're more interested in your ability to communicate confidently, work proactively, and approach tasks with a positive and professional attitude. You'll be comfortable using Microsoft applications and willing to learn our applicant tracking system.
We're an award-winning, family-owned, independent care home group, with an outstanding reputation within the industry thanks to our amazing people and our focus on keeping the resident at the heart of everything we do. We strive to be the best we can, hence why all 21 of our nursing homes are rated at least good and seven are outstanding by the CQC, our national regulator. If you're looking to develop your skills in a supportive environment and want to contribute to meaningful work, we'd love for you to join us during this maternity cover period.
Benefits:
- Modern office with free onsite parking
- Discounted gym membership
- Excellent inductions, training and on the job support
- Real career progression opportunities
- Annual pay review
- Contributory pension scheme
- Background checks at no cost to you
