We are looking for a dedicated Roster Administrator to join our team at our Office in Ringwood (BH24 3FE). This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about efficient scheduling and resource management.
As a Roster Administrator, you will be responsible for:
- Creating, maintaining and updating employee rosters while ensuring accuracy and compliance with Company policies.
- Monitoring staff attendance and availability, adjusting rosters as necessary to meet operational demands.
- Collaborating with department heads to ensure accurate scheduling for employees.
- Tracking shifts, overtime, and leave requests.
- Generating and maintaining accurate reports related to attendance, shift coverage and staff needs.
- Ensuring compliance with internal policies regarding shift patterns and working hours.
- Providing updates to supervisors and managers on roster-related matters.
- Coordinating with payroll to ensure accurate employee data for scheduling purposes.
- Using rostering software/tools to create and manage schedules, troubleshooting any issues, and recommending process improvements.
- Assisting employees with inquiries related to work schedules, shift swaps, and leave requests.
- Handling other administrative tasks as required.
About you
- You’ll have previous experience in roster administration, scheduling or workforce management.
- This role requires strong organisation and time management skills with keen attention to detail and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- You will have the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- The ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing operational needs with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Experience in healthcare or hospitality, data analysis skills, and the ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines would be beneficial.
