Salary - £59,500, plus bonus (Inclusive of Car allowance)

We are looking for an experienced multi-site Manager who can lead and inspire a large team across our 21 care homes. You will have specific responsibility for the activity team – 40 plus home-based staff, Senior Companionship Team Leaders and a team of 5 minibus drivers.

Based at Colten House, Ringwood with regular travel across Hampshire, Dorset, Wiltshire and West Sussex, you’ll provide strategic direction to the home based Companionship Teams. Leading from the front with a “can do” approach to make a positive impact on our residents’ day-to-day lives through our philosophy of care “All About Me - delivering activities to meet their individual needs.

About the Role

  • Create and lead on a vision for companionship and activities
  • Deliver a programme of activities to excite and engage our residents with stakeholder involvement pushing the boundaries of possibility
  • Develop a committed workforce to deliver the programme
  • Work collaboratively with other senior managers to deliver the strategy
  • Create PR opportunities to showcase the art of the possible through companionship and activities in a care home setting

As an excellent communicator, you will share your vision for outstanding activities and companionship. Your success will be evidenced through positive stakeholder reviews. You will consult with, listen to and act on resident/relative feedback. Regular audits and reviews will show areas of success and opportunities to improve shaping the strategic direction, pushing boundaries, and thinking “outside the box” to deliver an ongoing dynamic programme of creative, meaningful, enjoyable activities and excursions.

About You

  • You will be a strong people manager confident to mentor and develop your team and deal with poor performance where needed.
  • Commercially aware you will be responsible for a budget and appreciate the regulated environment in which we operate.
  • You’ll work closely with senior members of the Leadership Team including Marketing and Customer Support to ensure our work is showcased and PR opportunities are maximized.
  • The role is rewarding, challenging and requires the proven ability to motivate colleagues across a multi-site environment of 21 homes showing passion and drive to have the Companionship team focused and committed to activities and companionship 7 days per week - be those large events through to individual one to one support of a resident.
