Introduction: We are looking for an experienced Peripatetic Clinical Lead to join the team, covering the New Forest area, and based out of Woodpeckers, Brockenhurst SO42 7RX. Our residents live with moderate to high frailty needs and a diagnosis of dementia. You will be responsible for ensuring the best clinical care for residents while promoting their continued wellbeing and independence through delivery of our dementia strategy.
You will lead the clinical team, working with Nurses to drive forward the clinical excellence in the home, engaging with external agencies as and when required to ensure the best possible care for our residents. You will be responsible for the clinical governance, undertaking audits supported by Clinical and Quality Managers. In addition, you will have a key role in the development of your nurse team and support of student nurses on placements.

About you: You will have excellent clinical skills with sound judgement and great communication, able to lead with a can-do attitude. Ideally, you will be a Clinical Lead, Nurse Qualified Deputy Manager or Clinical Head of Care, with care home, frailty/dementia experience. You will be a team player, with attention to detail and a sense of fun. You will inspire, motivate and manage our talented team, happily taking the lead to manage everyday tasks in the absence of the Home Manager. You are personable and enjoy all aspects of nursing, with a positive outlook on the future of care.
