I’m working with a leading enterprise organisation looking for a skilled DevOps / AI Engineer to join their growing technology team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working across DevOps, automation, and emerging AI/GenAI technologies within a secure, regulated environment.
Role Overview
You’ll play a key role in delivering end-to-end software lifecycle solutions—spanning CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, system reliability, and AI-enabled engineering practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps)
- Automate infrastructure using Terraform and Ansible
- Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of systems
- Collaborate with Dev, QA, and Ops teams to streamline releases
- Troubleshoot build, deployment, and infrastructure issues
- Maintain configuration management and documentation (Jira, Confluence)
- Ensure compliance with enterprise controls and regulatory standards
- Work independently to deliver high-quality outcomes
AI / GenAI Focus
- Enable and integrate GenAI/LLM tools into DevOps workflows (where approved)
- Implement guardrails for responsible AI usage (data handling, access control, logging)
- Support observability of AI-enabled systems (latency, cost, quality signals)
- Apply best practices around security, governance, and compliance in AI usage
Core Skills
- Scripting: Python, Bash, Shell
- CI/CD: Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps
- Containers: Docker, Kubernetes
- IaC: Terraform, Ansible
- Source Control: Git, Bitbucket
- DevSecOps, secrets management, and enterprise compliance
