We are looking for an experienced Product Writer (Polaris) Developer to join a leading insurance organisation, working on the design and delivery of complex insurance products. This role is ideal for someone with strong Polaris expertise who can drive product configuration, rating logic, and integration across the full product lifecycle.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for configuring and developing insurance products within the Polaris Product Writer platform, ensuring accurate modelling, pricing, and seamless integration with downstream systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure and develop insurance products using Polaris Product Writer
- Build and maintain product rules, rating logic, and underwriting workflows
- Implement product updates and enhancements across multiple versions
- Support SIT, UAT, and end-to-end testing phases
- Troubleshoot defects and perform root cause analysis
- Ensure product configurations meet business and functional requirements
- Manage and maintain product configuration data
- Document product configurations, changes, and releases
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong hands-on experience with Polaris Product Writer (development and configuration)
- Deep understanding of insurance product modelling
- Rating and pricing logic
- Policy lifecycle processes
- Experience with RTE / XRTE configuration
- Policy Administration System (PAS) integrations
- SOAP and API-based integrations
- Solid knowledge of General Insurance (P&C preferred)
- 5–10 years’ experience in insurance product configuration or development
- Proven track record delivering Polaris Product Writer implementations
