We are currently supporting a confidential search for an OutSystems Developer to join a major enterprise programme in London on a 12-month contract. This role focuses on building scalable, secure, low-code applications and workflow orchestration solutions using the OutSystems platform. The successful candidate will work across application development, integrations, and business process automation within a complex enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and build responsive web and mobile applications using OutSystems (Service Studio)
- Develop workflow orchestration, process automation, and data models
- Implement integrations with enterprise systems using REST/SOAP APIs and external services
- Develop reusable components, UI patterns, and application logic
- Support testing, deployment, and environment promotion activities
- Troubleshoot performance issues and support optimisation across applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on delivery, releases, and hypercare
- Contribute to documentation, governance, and best practice standards
Required Skills & Experience
- 2–5 years’ experience in OutSystems development (Reactive or Traditional Web/Mobile)
- Strong understanding of low-code application architecture and delivery lifecycle
- Experience with integrations (REST, SOAP, APIs, OAuth, SQL)
- Good understanding of relational databases (SQL Server or Oracle)
- Knowledge of JavaScript and CSS for UI customisation
- Understanding of application security, performance tuning, and scalable design principles
Desirable Experience
- OutSystems certifications (Associate, Professional, Tech Lead)
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments
- Familiarity with cloud-based deployments or microservices concepts
