Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect with a strong software engineering background and proven expertise in delivering enterprise-scale digital transformation solutions. This role requires a hands-on technical leader capable of designing scalable, resilient, and cloud-native architectures while guiding delivery teams through the full software development lifecycle.
The successful candidate will work closely with engineering teams, product owners, infrastructure, and business stakeholders to define and implement modern architecture solutions across cloud and container platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and resilient enterprise solutions.
- Deliver architecture solutions aligned to business objectives and digital transformation initiatives.
- Provide technical leadership within Agile delivery environments.
- Work across the full software development lifecycle from solution inception through deployment and production support.
- Design and govern API strategies, integration patterns, and microservices architectures.
- Ensure architectural decisions consider scalability, resilience, operational supportability, and maintainability.
- Collaborate with development, DevOps, infrastructure, and security teams to ensure successful delivery.
- Drive adoption of cloud-native technologies and containerisation best practices.
- Support deployment and orchestration of containerised applications in production environments.
- Contribute to data architecture and enterprise integration strategies.
- Review technical designs and provide architecture governance and guidance to engineering teams.

- Proven experience delivering Digital Transformation solutions within enterprise environments.
- Strong knowledge of Agile development methodologies and experience providing technical leadership.
- Experience across the complete solutions development lifecycle.
- Strong understanding of scalable and resilient system design principles.
- Experience with API design and architecture patterns.
- Experience with Public and Private Cloud platforms, including OpenShift Container Platform.
- Strong experience delivering microservices-based solutions into production.
- Hands-on experience with Docker and container orchestration technologies.
- Understanding of Data Architecture concepts and integration approaches.
- Strong stakeholder communication and collaboration skills.
