Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Salesforce Field Service Lightning (FSL) Developer / Consultant to join a major long-term transformation programme delivering modern, mobile-first field service solutions across a complex enterprise environment. This is a hands‐on role focused on designing, developing, and enhancing Salesforce Field Service capabilities for engineers, dispatchers, and operational teams. The successful consultant will work closely with architects, business stakeholders, and integration teams to deliver scalable and intelligent field service solutions. The engagement is expected to run long term, with a strong pipeline of project work and ongoing platform enhancement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Salesforce Field Service Delivery
    • Configure and customise Salesforce Field Service including:
      • Work Orders
      • Service Appointments
      • Service Territories
      • Service Resources & Crews
      • Maintenance Plans
      • Dispatcher Console
    • Deliver enhancements and customisations using:
      • Apex
      • Platform Events
      • Custom APIs
    • Support mobile-first implementations for field technicians using the Salesforce Field Service Mobile App.
    • Design scalable solutions supporting both online and offline mobile usage.
  • Integrations & Technical Delivery
    • Build and support integrations between Salesforce and external enterprise systems using REST/SOAP APIs.
    • Work with middleware and integration teams where required.
    • Contribute to technical design discussions and solution architecture.
    • Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to Salesforce best practices and governor limits.
  • AI & Automation
    • Support implementation of intelligent automation capabilities within the Salesforce ecosystem.
    • Work with emerging Einstein / Agentforce / AI-enabled functionality where applicable.
    • Contribute to process automation initiatives improving operational efficiency and technician experience.
  • Agile Delivery
    • Work within Agile delivery teams across sprint planning, backlog refinement, estimations, and release activities.
    • Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, QA teams, and technical leads.
    • Support UAT, deployment activities, and post-release enhancements.

  • Proven recent experience with Salesforce Field Service (FSL)
  • Strong knowledge of:
    • Apex
    • LWC
    • Service Cloud
  • Experience configuring:
    • Dispatcher Console
    • Work Orders & Service Appointments
  • Experience with Salesforce integrations (REST/SOAP APIs)
  • Experience working in Agile delivery environments
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Salesforce Field Service Consultant certification
  • Experience with Experience Cloud
  • CI/CD and DevOps experience (Git, Copado, Gearset, Azure DevOps, etc.)
  • Experience with enterprise-scale Salesforce implementations
