About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Cybersecurity Lead Software & DevOps Engineer to drive the design, development, and delivery of enterprise security solutions across cloud and on-premises environments. This is a hands-on technical leadership role where you will operate at a principal engineer level, defining security strategy, building new capabilities, creating reusable security patterns, and leading adoption across engineering teams. You will combine deep technical expertise with strong stakeholder management and leadership skills to improve security controls, developer experience, and enterprise-wide security maturity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement end-to-end security solutions across cloud and on-premises platforms.
  • Build and deliver new security environments, frameworks, and reusable security components.
  • Lead proof-of-concepts, pilots, and evaluations of emerging security technologies.
  • Create and maintain reusable security patterns, reference architectures, and engineering standards.
  • Drive security initiatives across:
    • Identity and Access Management (IAM)
    • Secrets and Key Management
    • CI/CD Pipeline Security
    • Software Supply Chain Security
  • Implement and manage secure secrets management solutions using cloud-native vaults and HashiCorp Vault.
  • Partner with platform, infrastructure, and software engineering teams to identify and remediate security control gaps.
  • Provide technical leadership, guidance, and support during solution adoption and rollout.
  • Produce high-quality technical designs, implementation documentation, and knowledge transfer materials.
  • Lead a small team of engineers, setting technical direction, delivery milestones, and engineering standards.
  • Influence architectural decisions and drive enterprise-wide adoption of security best practices.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong experience in Security Architecture and Security Engineering.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with DevSecOps practices and secure software delivery.
  • Expertise in Identity and Access Management (IAM).
  • Strong experience with Secrets and Key Management solutions, including HashiCorp Vault.
  • Hands-on experience securing CI/CD pipelines and software supply chains.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, and/or GCP.
  • Experience designing and delivering enterprise-scale security solutions across cloud and on-premises environments.
  • Proven ability to lead engineering teams and large-scale technical initiatives.
  • Experience building, testing, scaling, and transitioning security capabilities into operational teams.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to operate independently while influencing technical strategy and engineering direction.

Desirable Skills

  • AWS Professional-level certifications (Solutions Architect Professional or DevOps Engineer Professional) or equivalent cloud certifications.
  • Experience implementing enterprise security frameworks and standards.
  • Knowledge of container and Kubernetes security.
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code and automation tooling.
  • Experience within large enterprise or regulated environments.
