Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced CCH Tagetik Test Lead / QA Lead to support a major finance transformation programme for a large multinational organisation operating within the insurance and financial services sector. This role will play a critical part in ensuring the quality, accuracy, and stability of enterprise performance management solutions across Financial Consolidation, Planning, Forecasting, and Regulatory Reporting processes. The successful candidate will work closely with Finance, Technology, and Delivery teams across multiple workstreams in a complex enterprise environment. The position is suited to a senior QA professional with strong hands-on experience in CCH Tagetik testing, finance systems validation, and stakeholder management within large-scale transformation programmes.
Key Responsibilities
- Test Strategy & Planning
- Define and own end-to-end testing strategy for CCH Tagetik implementations, upgrades, and enhancements
- Prepare detailed test plans covering SIT, UAT, regression, and release validation activities
- Review business, functional, and technical requirements to ensure complete test coverage and traceability
- Coordinate testing timelines, dependencies, environments, and resource planning
- Validate financial consolidation processes including:
- Intercompany eliminations
- Currency translation
- Allocations
- Journals
- Close and reporting processes
- Design and execute detailed functional, integration, regression, and negative test scenarios
- Lead defect management activities including logging, prioritisation, tracking, and resolution coordination
- Work closely with development, integration, and functional consulting teams to resolve issues efficiently
- Support release readiness and production deployment validation
- Coordinate and support User Acceptance Testing cycles with Finance and business stakeholders
- Facilitate test walkthroughs, defect triage sessions, and daily status updates
- Produce test metrics, status reporting, and sign-off documentation for programme leadership
- Drive business engagement and ensure timely completion of UAT activities
- Establish and improve QA standards, templates, and testing methodologies
- Identify opportunities for automation and regression optimisation within Tagetik testing processes
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the wider programme delivery function
- Mentor junior QA analysts and coordinate offshore/onshore testing teams where required
Required Skills & Experience
- 10+ years of experience within Software Testing / QA
- Strong hands-on experience testing CCH Tagetik solutions
- Proven experience working on enterprise-scale Finance Transformation or EPM programmes
- Experience operating as a Test Lead or QA Lead within Agile and hybrid delivery environments
