Contract | SC Cleared | 4 Positions | Predominantly Remote
We are looking for 4 experienced DevOps / Platform Engineers to join an established Defence programme on a contract basis. This is a great opportunity for engineers with strong Kubernetes and Platform Engineering experience who are comfortable working within secure, highly controlled environments.
The Role
You’ll be working as part of a platform-focused engineering team, helping to build, deploy and support secure cloud and containerised environments. We’re particularly interested in engineers who have worked within Defence, Government or security-focused projects/teams and understand the processes and standards associated with secure environments.

- Platform Engineering / platform-based environments
- AWS
- Docker
- Terraform
- ArgoCD
- JFrog
- Python
- Rancher
- Packer
- Grafana
- OpenTelemetry
- Conventional Commits
DevOps / Platform Engineers Experience with any of the following would be beneficial:
- Ansible
- VMware / Hyper-V
- Design processes and technical design
- Previous Defence sector experience
- Experience within security-focused projects or teams
- Infrastructure as Code and automated deployment practices

OUTSIDE IR35
Start: Mid-October 2026
Location: UK
Working pattern: Predominantly remote
On-site requirement: Hampshire approximately once per month
Security clearance: Current SC clearance required as a minimum
Who We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate will be an SC-cleared DevOps or Platform Engineer with significant hands-on Kubernetes experience and a background in building or supporting modern platform environments. Experience delivering within Defence or security-sensitive environments would be highly advantageous.
