We are looking for experienced Senior Frontend Software Engineers to join cross-functional product teams delivering front-end led capabilities for a large-scale Data Marketplace platform running on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). This is an opportunity to work on modern cloud-native applications, influence technical direction, and build high-quality, accessible user experiences at scale.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Building scalable, accessible, and well-tested frontend applications using React and TypeScript
- Working within agile cross-functional engineering teams
- Taking technical ownership of frontend solutions and contributing to architecture decisions
- Driving engineering best practices including TDD and automated testing
- Mentoring and supporting other engineers within the team
- Collaborating closely with backend engineers, product teams, and DevOps teams
Required Skills & Experience:
- Strong commercial experience with React and TypeScript/JavaScript
- Proven experience building accessible applications (WCAG standards)
- Strong understanding of frontend testing practices and TDD
- Hands-on experience with JestJS and modern testing frameworks
- Experience delivering scalable, maintainable frontend applications in enterprise environments
- Senior-level experience contributing to technical direction and mentoring engineers
Nice to Have:
- Java / Quarkus backend development experience
- Experience integrating REST APIs and working with PostgreSQL
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, containers, and Kubernetes
- Experience working within cloud-native environments on GCP
