We are supporting a major global banking client building out a next-generation Managed Kubernetes Platform environment across GCP. This is a senior technical leadership role focused on engineering a highly resilient, scalable, developer-friendly GKE platform within a complex enterprise environment.
Strong focus on:
- Kubernetes & Cloud Native engineering
- GKE platform build & automation
- GoLang & Python engineering
- Terraform / Helm / FluxCD / Tekton
- CI/CD & Infrastructure as Code
- Multi-cluster platform operations
- Observability (Prometheus / Grafana / GCP Monitoring)
- Security, resiliency & operational governance
- Financial services / regulated environments
You will:
- Lead technical direction of the Kubernetes platform
- Support strategic multi-cloud initiatives
- Work closely with DevOps and engineering teams
- Mentor engineers and drive platform innovation
- Build automated, scalable Kubernetes solutions on GCP
Ideal background:
- Deep Kubernetes ecosystem knowledge
- Strong GoLang experience (environment heavily Go-based)
- Enterprise GKE platform engineering
- Cloud Native tooling & GitOps delivery
- Experience within large-scale regulated environments
Nice to have:
- GCP Professional Certifications
- CKA / CKAD certifications
