Why we need this role
To deliver accurate and compliant payrolls across the EMEA region, with a particular focus on the United Kingdom, Romania and France. The role will act as the subject matter expert for assigned payrolls and provide payroll expertise to support SuccessFactors and payroll integration initiatives, ensuring accurate and efficient data flows between HR and payroll systems.
This is a 12-month fixed term contract and requires an experienced payroll professional with strong hands-on experience running EMEA payrolls, particularly UK, Romanian and French payrolls.
What you will do
- Act as the subject matter expert for a portfolio of EMEA payrolls, with particular responsibility for the UK, Romania and France payrolls.
- Support the implementation and ongoing enhancement of SuccessFactors and payroll integrations, providing payroll expertise during testing, data validation, issue resolution and process design.
- Process payroll updates and changes accurately and in line with established payroll deadlines and controls.
- Maintain knowledge of local payroll legislation and ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations and company policies.
- Act as the primary point of contact for employee payroll queries and stakeholder support.
- Liaise with payroll providers, HR, Finance, HRIS, IT and external vendors to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
- Validate payroll calculations, funding requirements and payroll output reports, identifying and resolving discrepancies as required.
- Perform data audits and reconciliations to ensure the accuracy and integrity of payroll and employee data.
- Support payroll system changes, integrations, testing activities and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain payroll process documentation and contribute to internal and external audits and project activities.
- Identify opportunities for process standardisation, automation and operational efficiency.

What we're looking for
Skills & Experience
- Minimum 5 years' payroll experience, with significant hands-on experience running UK, Romania and France payrolls.
- Proven experience delivering end-to-end payrolls across the EMEA region.
- Strong working knowledge of UK payroll legislation, including PAYE, National Insurance, statutory payments, pensions, benefits and year-end reporting requirements.
- Practical experience of Romanian and French payroll processes and legislation.
- Experience processing both UK and international payrolls and working with global payroll providers.
- Strong SuccessFactors experience, including employee data management, payroll interfaces and integration support.
- Experience supporting payroll-related integrations between SuccessFactors and outsourced payroll vendors.
- Experience in payroll systems testing, UAT, parallel runs and implementation projects.
- Strong analytical, reconciliation and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Experience working in a multinational environment across EMEA.
