Position: Finance (CFO)
Reports to: VP Group Finance
Location: Colt House, Shoreditch, London (Hybrid)
Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate month-end/quarter-end financial close process including reporting to shareholders
- Deliver the Group’s IFRS consolidated annual report
- Deliver the Group’s subsidiary accounts (Local GAAP) and meet local compliance requirements
- Lead the Group and local audit processes, ensuring they are managed to required timescales
- Provide technical accounting guidance and support under IFRS, drafting/reviewing papers on large and/or complex arrangements
- Draft Audit Committee papers and board-level materials
- Drive finance transformation and efficiencies, including ways of working, reporting, system improvements, and use of automation and AI
- Lead and develop a high-performing finance team
- Drive improvements in the controls and governance framework
- Own accounting policies, spend policies and wider-finance policies
- Own CSRD/UK SRS reporting requirements (when applicable) and support broader sustainability reporting requirements
- Provide assistance to country, divisional and shared-service centre finance teams, as well as Group tax in a multi-national environment
- Undertake other tasks and commercial analysis covering all aspects of Group Finance, including project-related work
Qualifications & Experience
- Qualified Accountant with 10+ years of experience
- Experience at Director level in practice or within an international/high-performing Group Finance team
- Strong technical knowledge of IFRS (US GAAP desirable)
- Ideally a Big-4 qualified accountant
- Analytical background with a solutions-based approach
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Strong Excel, PowerPoint and ERP tools skills
- Excellent communication skills at all organisational levels up to senior stakeholders
- Experience with M&A activity, integration and/or systems transformation highly desirable
